Hi, thanks for visiting!
I’m a ceramic artist and gardener living on a farm in north Florida. Most of my studio time is spent making a line of earthenware (low-fire) tableware, decorated with nature-inspired graphics and vibrant colors. You can find these items in my Etsy shop.
Changes are happening in the studio… changes I’m very excited about… and I’ll be sharing these creative explorations here on this blog. I’ll also talk about my daily studio practice and how I run a small art business.
Gardening is almost a year-round adventure here in zone 8b. We are growing organic vegetables and herbs from seeds, supplying our own kitchen with fresh produce and selling the surplus locally. Updates and photos from the garden will be featured regularly, along with posts about cooking and preserving.
I titled this blog “process and ritual” because I want to explore the process inherent in daily activities… the steps taken to create or accomplish something… and when a task becomes a ritual. I want to think more about the journey and practice being mindful along the path.
This is where you can find me online:
